Our take
I've been using this Gateway HD2200 as a secondary display, and for the price, it's a decent workhorse. The 16:10 aspect ratio gives extra vertical space compared to 16:9, which I like for documents. The 4 ms response time feels responsive enough for light gaming, and the 1000:1 contrast ratio delivers reasonable blacks. The inclusion of component video and PiP/PbP is a nice bonus for older consoles or multitasking. However, the 60 Hz refresh rate is standard but not gaming-focused, and the 1680x1050 resolution shows its age—text isn't as crisp as modern 1080p panels. Expect decent performance for basic tasks but nothing flashy.
